crumbling pavement...far distant cries
i'm dreaming too much
watching this road
all of the words i've never said.

sunset...fading...obscured lies
the phase ending
light fails in the hills
shade stretches...wind-troubled grass
i've pitied too much
towards myself
in all of the things that i have done.
